JMC seals commercial establishments due to non-payment of rent

Jammu : On the instructions of Commissioner, JMC, Ms. Avny Lavasa (IAS) under the supervision of Assistant Commissioner (R), JMC, Sh. Sudhir Bali (KAS) Jammu Municipal Corporation today on 16.04.2021 sealed three number of municipal commercial establishments allotted in favour of Sh. Mohinder Paul  Singh S/o Gojinder Singh, Ajeet Singh S/o Sawan Mall and Gajinder Singh S/o Ajeet Singh at Gumat Steps, Jammu due to non-payment of rent dues. The allottees were served several notices to deposit the rent arrears accumulated against them but despite lapse of stipulated time period they have failed to deposit the same.Further, Jammu Municipal Corporation appeals to all municipal allottees Commercial/Residential to deposit rent dues alongwith GST upto 31st March 2021 to avoid legal action i.e. sealing of their premises and cancellation of allotment order.
