ASSOCHAM appreciates reforms extended to badly affected sectors of Himachal Pradesh

ASSOCHAM appreciates the series of reforms announced by Shri Jai Ram Thakur, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh while presiding over the state level Himachal Day function held at Padhar in Drang Vidhan Sabha area of Mandi district.

Despite the challenges of COVID-19, the Himachal Pradesh state government tried to revive the economy of the state by announcing various reforms for the badly affected sectors.

Mr Jitender Sodhi, Chairman, ASSOCHAM Himachal Pradesh State Development Council and CMD, Ayush Group of Companies India praised the special allowances announced for lower-grade Covid warriors, loan subvention for tourism sector and transport sector. All these schemes have proved a boon to the people of the state and to resolve their grievances expeditiously.He added, yet we were expecting some relief schemes for MSME sector as well, as this would not only help state but also our nation to grow in future and will prevent lying off the labourers.

The relief measures announced to the ailing Tourism and Transport sector will help them to sustain in the hour of crisis”, said Mr Rakesh Nagpal, Co-Chairman, ASSOCHAM Himachal Pradesh State Development Council and CEO & Founder Alfa Chemicals.We hope that Govt will frequently review the impact of pandemic on Industry of the state time to time and come out with necessary measures, he added.
