Following Covid19 SOP’s strictly helping us in flow of tourists: Dir Tourism

Director Tourism Kashmir Dr. G N Itoo said following Covid19 SOP strictly has helped inflow of tourists in Kashmir.

In a statement issued, ” Following the Covid19 SOP strictly is creating a sense of safety among tourists”, Dr. Itoo said this to reporters after kick-starting Shikara Rally on B.R. Ambedkars Birthday.

He said the main aim of the tourism department is to promote tourism in Kashmir through different programmes.
“We have seen that despite covid the flow of tourists is high as compared to last year,” he said.

Director Tourism also said that various physical campaigns and social media have helped in the flow of tourism in Kashmir.

He also said hotel staff and officials have been sensitized in following the Covid19 protocol.
