Kulgam: A Scuffle between two stepbrothers resulted in the death of one stepbrother in DH PORA area of South Kashmir’s kulgam district today afternoon.

Talking to the Arising state a Police official said that there was a scuffle between two stepbrothers on land dispute in which 55-year-old Rashid Chopan, son of Jan Chopan allegedly fell unconscious during the scuffle with his stepbrother Ghulam Hassan Chopan both residents of Ahmadabad, D H Pora in kulgam District.

He was rushed to district hospital kulgam where doctors declared him brought dead, adding that a case under FIR number 31/2021 under sections 147, 323, and 302 has been filed and further investigation is going on.

The official said that most probably the deceased has died due to a heart attack, he said
