DC Kulgam visits several educational institutions, took stock of facilities, calls for strict adherence to COVID-19 SOP’s
KULGAM, MARCH,29: The Deputy Commissioner Kulgam, Dr.Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din- Bhat today visited several educational Institutions in kulgam and took stock of facilities in these institutions.
He visited Degree College Kulgam, ITI College kulgam, Boys Higher Secondary school kulgam, and other educational institutions and inspected the arrangements available for students including sanitation, seating, drinking water, and other facilities.
He also interacted with the students and urged them to attend their classes regularly and shared valuable suggestions regarding excelling in life.
The DC instructed all the school authorities to ensure all safety measures are being followed strictly and to ensure thermal checks being conducted at entry points of the school and strictly follow distance rules and other safety measures to make schooling safe.
Earlier during his visit to Degree College kulgam the DC also took stock of the pace and progress of Development works at degree college and directed the concerned to scñale up the pace of work to complete it within stipulated time.
Meanwhile, in view of resurge in COVID-19 cases, the Deputy Commissioner has already made wearing of face masks at public places compulsory in Kulgam district to minimize the chances of further spread of Covid-19 and have ordered a fine of Rs 500 on violators.
