Awantipora Youth Goes Missing

Srinagar, Mar 26:  A teenager youth has gone missing from his home for nearly a week now in Dadsara Aawntipora of south-Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

Kashif Mir a student of eleventh standard, as per a family member went missing from his home on March 20. “We have been looking for him at every possible place however have been unable to locate him for nearly a week now”, he said adding that “A missing report dated March 20 has been already registered in this regard.”

Meanwhile, a police official has confirmed of receiving a missing report and said that “Efforts are on to trace the teenager.”

Pertinent to mention here that Mir’s two elder siblings Nayeem Bashir and Adil Bashir both belonging to militant outfit Hizb-ul-Mujhaideen were killed in forces’ action in 2010 and 2014 respectively. (GNS)
