Khursheed Alam resigns from PDP

In a big jolt to People’s Democratic Party, Senior Political leader of the party and Its Srinagar face Khursheed Alam today resigned from the party.

Alam confirmed his decesion to KNS and said, ” I was not happy with internal affairs of the party. I deemed it necessary to resign from the party.”

He was part of the recently formed powerful 14-member political affairs committee (PAC) of the party.

Pertinently, during the PDP party election Mehbooba was unanimously re-elected as party president for the period of three years, after her name was proposed by senior party leaders including Ghulam Nabi Lone Hanjura and Khurshid Aalam.
