International Women’s Day celebrated in Pulwama

Pulwama: International Women’s Day was celebrated in Pulwama district of South Kashmir on Monday.

The event was organised by ICDS department, where speakers highlighted the different issues faced by women in their day to day life, like domestic violence, dowry, eve teasing and rape victimization.

On that occasion, a lady employee Miss Romy Naxir was declared “most strong and effective” woman speaker, who was lately felicitated by the ICDS officer Pulwama.
