Tral girl scores 98.8% marks, wants to be a Cardiologist

Tral, 8 March: Saba Rafiq, daughter of Rafiq Ahmad Rather, resident of Buchoo village in Tral, secured 494 marks out of 500 and is busy preparing for the NEET exams.

The success of Saba in 12th class results with  98.8% score is quite interesting, as she scored the same percentage in the 10th class, two years back in 2018.

Talking to the Arising State, Saba said that she is very thankful to Allah for his immeasurable blessings upon her.

She said that she is also thankful to her parents, teachers, and relatives, who always ‘supported and prayed’ for her success.

Saba acknowledged every teacher who helped her to achieve these results. Without their hard work, it would be impossible.

She thanked & praised the teachers of Hamdard Grammar School Tral, Govt Girls Hr. Secondary School Tral & KIE Srinagar, who went the extra mile to help her.

Saba credits her success to the teachings imparted and guidelines laid by her teachers. She strictly followed the regime it helped her to get the results she wanted. Saba aspires to be a cardiac surgeon.

Her father, Rafiq Ahmad Rather is a govt teacher, who is very happy to see her daughter’s name among the toppers.

Rather said that “every father is proud when daughters perform well” in any examination.

Being the father of three daughters Rather puts every effort to provide education to her daughters.

“I am very happy after my daughter secured 7th position in the valley. I always try my best to facilitate my daughters in the best possible way especially when it comes to education, the result is evident,” Rather said.

Meanwhile, SSP Awantipora, Tahir Saleem Khan felicitated Saba Rafiq with a trophy and appreciation letter for cracking the academic exam with a high percentage.
