Senior Congress leader S.S. Channi visits Doodhmarg Tral, listens to people’s grievances

Tral: Senior leader & General Secretary Congress party Surinder Singh Channi visited Doodhmarg area of Tral on Wednesday, and listened to the grievances of people.

During his visit, Singh said that people belonging to scheduled tribes (ST) in Tral suffer a lot, “as they face hardships while receiving the required certificates in tehsil office.”

He said that water crisis and other issues are prevailing in Doodhmarg village, “as the water supply turned pathetic, with no intervention from anyone, while no culverts are being constructed on local nallah.”

Singh added that all the grievances of people need to be redressed by the concerned authorities at the earliest.
