Body of a Missing Child recovered from Sind in Kangan

Kangan,11 February: Police on Thursday recovered the body of a minor from the Sind stream in the Kangan area of Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.
The search for Waheed Ahmed son of Mukhtar Ahmad Sontra was launched on Wednesday evening. The 15-month-old boy went missing on Wednesday from his home in the Rezan area of Kangan in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.

According to police sources, the body of the child was spotted by the locals after collective searches by the locals and police. The body was recovered near the Kullan Bridge on Thursday morning.
According to the police, the child died due to drowning.
