Gunshots heard during CASO in South Kashmir’s Matipora ,Anantnag district
Anantnag: Gunshots have been reportedly heard during a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) in Matipora area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
Reports said that a joint team of Army 3 RR, CRPF and Special Operation Group (SOG) launched search operation in the area after receiving information about the presence of militants in the area.
A police source confirmed the search operation in the area and said that they are verifying the details about gunshots.
The searches operation was underway in the village when this report was last filed.
