19 BN of Army’s RR organises 15 days basic computer course
Srinagar, 5 Feb: A 15 days basic computer course is being organized by Gadol COB of 19 RR BN to mark the ‘Anti Terrorism Day’ on 05 Feb 2021.
As per army, the Course was designed in a particular way to teach basics and fundamentals to the students from poor background who can not afford such courses.
On that occasion, “besides students approx 25 village elders, Sarpanches and notables” were also present.
An army official said that the students from various remote villages like Ahlan,Yichhu,Sinzi,Gadol,Vailoo have eagerly shown their interest to attend this Army sponsored basic computer cadre.
He said that locals had appreciated the steps taken by the Army to educate and empower the local youth.
As per the official, locals requested Army that such activities must be planned regularly in future also.
A press release issued by army reads that: “On successful termination of the course, each student will be provided with a participation certificate.”
“These kind of activities will project positive image of ARMY among local population which inturn help to change their perception towards security forces,” Army said in a press release, adding that ‘these activities’ help in channelising the youth energy in positive direction.
