Militants trapped in Baramulla, gunshots heard
Srinagar, December 24:Gunshots were heard after security forces launched a massive cordon and search operation in Wanigam Payeen area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Thursday morning.
Official sources told a local news agency that a joint team of Police, army and CRPF has cordoned off the suspected spot where two militants are believed to be trapped.
The official further said that some speculative fire was also shot towards the suspected spot, however, there was no response from militants or any kind of exchange of fire reported.
