Army pays tribute to its soldier who dies due to cardiac arrest in Shopian

Army on Sunday paid tributes to its soldier who died yesterday due to cardiac arrest during Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) in Zainapora village of Shopian district.

According to reports, Army in its Twitter handle said, “ChinarCorps salutes the valour & sacrifice of Rifleman Ab Majed Dar, who made the supreme sacrifice in the line of duty during the cordon and search operation at Zainapura, Shopian District on 12 Dec 20”.

Army also expressed deepest condolences to the bereaved family.

Pertinently Riifleman Abdul Majid Dar was associated with 162 Territorial Regiments and was currently deputed in Rashtriya Rifles.
