Govt asks DDOs to ensure contribution towards Armed Forces Flag Day Fund

JAMMU, NOVEMBER 25: The government has asked all the Treasury Officers to impress upon the Drawing and Disbursing Officers (DDOs) operating treasuries to ensure donation to the Armed Forces Flag Day Fund by all their employees.As per a circular issued today in this regard by Finance department, the minimum rate of donation has been fixed at Rs 100 for Gazetted Officers and Rs 40 for Non ¬Gazetted Officials to be deducted from their salaries for the month of December, 2020.The amount of donation shall be remitted through Cheque/ Bank Draft to Armed Forces Flag Day c/o Director Sainik Welfare, Jammu and Kashmir Government, Amphalla, Jammu.
