96 JKAS Officers transferred in major Administrative reshuffle

Jammu : In a major administrative reshuffle, the Government of Jammu and Kashmir has transferred and posted 96 JKAS officers to new positions across various departments, as per Government Order No. 534-JK(GAD) of 2025. As per order, Rakesh Magotra, Member of the JK Services Selection Board, has been appointed as Special Secretary in the Department of Forest, Ecology and Environment. Naseer Ahmad Wani has been transferred from the Jal Shakti Department to the Public Works (R&B) Department, replacing Ghulam Rasool Mir, who will await further posting in the General Administration Department.

Vir Krishan Dhar, Secretary of the Joint Electricity Regulatory Commission, JK, has been transferred as Additional Secretary in the Department of Disaster Management, Relief, Rehabilitation and Reconstruction. Dhananter Singh, previously in the Forest Department, now serves as Additional Secretary in the Health and Medical Education Department.Sonali Arun Gupta, Joint Director, Industries and Commerce (M&P), Jammu, is now Additional Secretary in the JK Academy of Art, Culture and Languages. Atul Gupta has been appointed CEO of the Tourism Development Authority, Billawar-Duggan, replacing Rajesh Lakhan.

Jagdish Chander, Secretary/CEO of the JK Khadi and Village Industries Board, has been made Additional Secretary in the Housing and Urban Development Department. Harbans Lal moves from the Housing and Urban Development Department to the Finance Department in the same capacity. Mohammad Ashraf, General Manager of DIC Kathua, becomes Secretary of the Joint Electricity Regulatory Commission. Rajeev Magotra, awaiting adjustment, is posted as Additional Secretary in the Housing and Urban Development Department.

Sanjeev Rana, previously with the JK Academy of Art, Culture and Languages, becomes Additional Secretary in the Hospitality and Protocol Department. Sukriti Sharma is appointed Registrar of GCET, Jammu.Umar Shafi Pandit, CEO of the Wullar-Manasbal Tourism Development Authority, has been posted as Principal, Revenue Training Institute, Srinagar. Deepak Dubey is now Joint Director of Information, Jammu. Pardeep Kumar has been posted as Additional Secretary in the Tourism Department.

Abdul Rashid Dass, Programme Officer, ICDS Project Kulgam, also holding charge of CEO, Tourism Development Authority, Aharbal, is now Registrar, District Anantnag. Girdhari Lal moves from the Higher Education Department to Deputy Excise Commissioner (Distilleries), Jammu.Sukriti Sharma is transferred from the Deputy Excise Commissioner (Accounts), Jammu, to Registrar, GCET, Jammu. Syed Naseer Ahmad, Project Officer, Wage Employment (ACD), Kulgam, becomes Secretary, Srinagar Development Authority.

Mir Nasrool Hilal Jeri moves to CEO of the Tourism Development Authority, Pahalgam. Kaiser Ahmad Bhawani, previously Principal of the Revenue Training Institute, Srinagar, now serves as CEO, Tourism Development Authority, Kishtwar.Mita Kumari has been transferred to the Industries and Commerce Department. Mushtaq Ahmad Chowdhary moves to DIC Kathua as General Manager. Anshuman Singh is posted as Additional Secretary in the Science and Technology Department.

Zaheer Abass Bhat has been transferred to Deputy Director, Rural Sanitation, Jammu. Naser Ali is now Joint Director, Industries and Commerce (M&P), Jammu. Preeti Sharma becomes Joint Registrar, Cooperatives (Special), Jammu.Bilal Mukhtar Dar has been appointed CEO, Tourism Development Authority, Sonamarg, replacing Ghulam Mohammad Bhat. Abhishake Abrol is now General Manager, DIC, Jammu, replacing Virender Kumar Manyal.

Vikas Dhar Bagati takes charge as Registrar, District Kathua. Shabnam Rashid becomes Deputy Commissioner, State Taxes (Stamps), Kashmir. Malik Waseem Ahmad is now General Manager, DIC, Pulwama.Tinna Mahajan becomes Deputy Excise Commissioner (Accounts), Jammu. Nazia Hassan is posted as GM, DIC, Anantnag, post-retirement of the current incumbent. Manisha Koul becomes Registrar, District Samba.

Mohammad Imran Khan has been appointed CEO, Tourism Development Authority, Wullar-Manasbal. Zahid Rashid Khan is now GM, DIC, Budgam. Varinder Gupta becomes Registrar, District Reasi.Kuldip Raj moves to Additional Secretary, Department of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs. Parvaiz Ahmad Naik is now CEO, Urban Development Agency, Jammu. Najwan Nazki is appointed Deputy Labour Commissioner, Kashmir.

Mir Zahida becomes CEO, Urban Development Agency, Kashmir. Zaheer Ahmad Kaifi becomes Programme Officer, ICDS Project, Kulgam. Deebah Khalid Peer is now Assistant Commissioner Panchayat, Srinagar.Mohammad Ashraf is appointed Deputy Secretary, Power Development Department. Syed Nadeem Iqbal Andrabi joins the Finance Department. Gulzar Ahmad Bhat is transferred to the Industries and Commerce Department.

Hilal Ahmad Bhat is now Deputy District Election Officer, Bandipora, while Mohammad Rafeeq Bhat moves to Deputy Director, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Kashmir.Shabir Ahmad Hakak is now Sub-Registrar, Kangan, and also holds charge of Ganderbal. Sheetal Pandita joins the School Education Department. Mohd Rafiq becomes District Mineral Officer, Rajouri.

Bashir Ahmad Bhat is appointed Special Officer, Auqaf, JK. Muzaffer Hussain Wani moves to Public Works (R&B) Department. Danish Rasool Mir is now Project Officer, Wage Employment, Jammu.Riaz Ahmad joins the JKTDC, Jammu. Mohd. Hanief will await adjustment in the General Administration Department. Mudasir Hussain Famda is now Project Officer, Baramulla.Sham Lal Abrol is transferred as Collector, ERA, Jammu. Aijaz Ahmad Shigon moves to the Principal Chief Conservator of Forest’s office. Fayaz Ahmad Bhat is posted to Anantnag.Shafiq Ahmad Wani becomes Project Officer, Wage Employment, Anantnag. Kavita Pandoh is appointed Sub-Registrar, Jammu (North-I). Sania Haq Khan becomes Assistant Commissioner (General), Jammu. Arjumand Yaqoob moves to Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs.Malvika Sharma is posted to the ICDS, Jammu. Syed Namaz Nahin Tabasam Shah becomes Assistant Commissioner, State Taxes Department.
