Woman killed in Ganderbal road mishap
Ganderbal, Oct 04: A woman was killed while her husband was injured after a motorcycle they were riding on collided with a tier in Barosa village of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Sunday afternoon.
An official told the local news agency that the motorcycle bearing registration number JK05D-2138 collided with a tipper bearing registration number JK01G-1163 in Barosa village, resulting in on spot death of the woman who was riding as pillion.
He said that motorcyclist was also injured and has been shifted to SKIMS Soura for treatment.
The official said the deceased woman was identified as Kulsuma wife of Showkat Ahmad Dar, a resident of Barosa while her husband was injured in the accident.
He said that a case FIR No. 42/20 has been registered in this regard and further investigation has been initiated
