75th Independence Day-2022 celebrated at District Budgam

BUDGAM 15th August 2022: Independence Day was celebrated with full zeal and patriotic fervor in district Budgam at Sports Stadium Budgam. Shri Nazir Ahmad Khan DDC Chairman Budgam as Chief Guest hoisted the National flag & inspected the Parade along with SSP Budgam Shri Tahir Saleem Khan-JKPS.

DC Budgam Shri Shahbaz Mirza JKAS, ADDC Budgam Shri Akramullah TAK-JKAS, ADC Budgam Dr. Nasir Ahmed-JKAS, General Manager DIC Budgam Shri Mohammad Ashraf, CEO Budgam Shri Mushtaq Ahmed Qadri, Commandant CRPF Shri Pradeep Gowsami, Addl.SP Budgam Shri Gowhar Ahmed-JKPS,DySP DAR DPL Budgam Shri Owaise Rasheed-JKPS officers from Army, CRPF, BSF, officers of PHE, PDD, I&FC, R&B Division Budgam, respectable citizens of District Budgam and other officers of Police and civil administration were also present on the occasion.

The Parade was commanded by Dy.SP PC Budgam Dr.Ajaz Malik-JKPS in which contingents of CRPF , JKP , IRP, JKAP, JKHG , BHSS Budgam(NCC).School Contingents of BHSS Wathora(NCC), HSS Wagar (NCC) , BHSS Beerwah, GHS Ichigam, GHS Nasrullahpora, HS Pallar, HSS Soibugh, BHSS Shogipora, and band troop of District Police Budgam presented the march past.
Chief Guest in his address congratulated the participants for celebrating Independence Day-22 with gaiety and fervour, he highlighted the development works carried out by Govt in the Distt during the year. He appreciated and thanked people for making “Har Ghar Trianga” campaign successful and paid rich tributes to the martyrs of Police and CAPF who sacrificed their lives for the Nation.
Various colourful cultural programs like Rouf, Ladishah, patriotic songs, Bangda, Ghazals , skits etc. were also presented. A large number of people witnessed the function and elaborate security arrangements were made by Police Budgam during the celebration of the Independence Day-22
The prizes and appreciation certificates from Police and Civil administration were also given to the best performing contingents and other civil/police employees for their best performance who tirelessly worked hard by putting their lives at risk in safeguarding general public.
