5 structures damaged, elderly man injured in Poonch

Jammu: A 60-year-old man was injured after hit on head by a flying tin sheet amid gusty winds which also damaged rooftops of four houses and a school in Mendhar area of Poonch on Tuesday.  An official said that due to gusty winds, a tin sheet got uprooted and hit on the head of one Mumtaz Hussein (60) son of Dulla Khan of Gultha area of the Mendhar.    His condition is said to be stable, he said. Sources said that houses belonging to Nisar Ahmed and Abdul Ghani were also damaged along with that of two other persons at Harni area.
