24-year-old woman among two die in Kashmir, J&K COVID-19 death toll 162
Two more COVID-19 patients, including a 24-year-old woman from Anantnag, died on Saturday, taking the total number of covid-19 deaths in J&K to 162.
Officials told a local news agency that two patients who died include a 24-year-old woman from Hakura, Anantnag, and a 77-year-old man from Hyderpora, Srinagar.
The officials said that the young woman died at the SMHS hospital while the elderly man from Srinagar died at SKIMS.
The young lady from Anantnag who was admitted on 03 July in SMHS hospital was very sick and was suffering from hypertension and other ailments. She died at SMHS late Friday night, said officials of SMHS hospital. The official said that the patient was referred from LD hospital after she had a cesarean delivery and the patient died due to brain hemorrhage while her baby is fine.
