22nd State Sqay Championship concludes in Srinagar

Srinagar: The 22nd State Sqay Championship which was started on Tuesday concluded in Srinagar city on Thursday.
The championship was organised by Jammu and Kashmir Sqay Association at Indoor Stadium in Polo Ground Sports Complex Sringar, which was sponsored by ‘Lawrence Pharma’.
Since Tuesday, large number of players under different age categories from the various parts of Kashmir valley participated in the championship to showcase their talent.
Besides Chief Guest of the event, Grand Master Mir Nazir, Organising Secretary Waseem Beigh, technical Director Bashir Ahmad and other SQAY officials were also present on the occasion.
As per the official, players who performed well in the championship, will play at the National level Sqay championship, which will be held at Goa soon.
Grand Master, Mir Nazir has said that motive to organise such championships is to keep youngsters away from drugs.
