20th Junior National Wushu Championship at Jalandhar from 20th to 25th October 2021

Srinagar: Wushu Association of J&K conducted selection trial for the Junior UT J&K wushu team on 12th and 13th October 2021 at Gindun Stadium Rajbagh Srinagar.

38 Players have been shortlisted by the selection commitee of the Wushu Association of J&K.

More than 150 players from 14 districts participated in the 02 days selection trial.

Pertinent to mention here that during 19th Junior wushu championship held at Haryana in 2020,  J&K wushi team remained overall 3rd in the national championship.

The Divisional sports officer (Kashmir) Ms Nuzhat Ara conducted the screening of the team. Sports officer Central Ms Nusrat Ghazala and Manager Gindun Mr.Mushtaq zargar and Maqsood Indoor stadium were present during the screening of the team.

The CEO of Wushu Association Kuldeep Handoo along with Jt.Secretary Maqsood Rather were present during the screening.
