2 LeT militants killed in south Kashmir, search operation continues

Two LeT militants were killed in an overnight ongoing Gunfight in the Sirhama area of Bijbehra in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
Reports reaching to Kashmir News Service said that two Lashkar Toiba militants were killed in the gunfight that erupted yesterday evening, he said the identification of these militants is being ascertained.
Earlier officials said that a joint team of security forces launched CASO in the area yesterday evening following inputs of the presence of militants in the area.
He said as the forces encircled the suspected spot the hiding militants fired upon them ensuing the gun battle in the area.
