RTI exposes fake certificates of government teacher working in Warwan Kashtiwar

Anantnag, 11 February: A person who served in the Education Department as a teacher for nearly a decade was appointed on the basis of forged documents in the Inshan Warwan area of Kashtiwar district.

The matter came to the fore when an applicant filed an RTI NO D/KD/733/20 Dated 2/12 2010, which reveals that a person working in the education department submitted fake educational certificates to secure a  government job.

The applicant has collected all documents as evidence through Right to Information (RTI) queries to prove how this person used forged educational certificates to secure a job in the education department of the state government.

The accused, Talib Husain Rather son of Mohd Ashoor Rather resident of Inshan Warwan, who was posted at Government Middle school Uriwan Warwan, and belongs to Kashtiwar district, has now resigned from the service and sent a resignation letter to CEO Kashtiwar,said an insider source to Arising state.

According to RTI Talib Hussain was appointed in 2010 as RET teacher and adjusted in the education department in 2010 on the basis of fake documents. RTI Reveals that the teacher had failed despite repeated directions to provide all documents like 10th pass marks card and diploma, 12th pass marks card and diploma, PRC, CID report, and appointment order. The said RET teacher has failed to send all the above-mentioned documents to this office despite repeated directions reveals an RTI copy of zonal Education officer warwan.

While talking to the Arising state sources said that the Jammu and Kashmir State Board of School Education Bemina, Srinagar had declared him fail under roll number 113550 session -2009 Annual, in class 12th jk Bose Bemina Srinagar issued verification certificate and subject wise marks in which his result has been shown as failed, he said.

However, Arising State received a copy of the 12th class marks card of Talib Hussain in which  Talib Hussain (teacher )got  103 out of 500 marks, and the result card is marked with a red pen, showing him failed.

As per the document gathered through RTI Talib Hussain has been working as RET teacher for the last ten years on fake documents in warwan area of kashtiwar district.

In order to get himself appointed in the government job, Talib managed to get fake documents and was appointed in 2010 as RET teacher in Warwan area of kashtiwar district, said an insider source to Arising state.

Meanwhile Talking to Arising state the ZEO of warwan Meena kumar said ,” we have also received the RTI copy from the petitioner we are investigating the matter at our own level. The teacher has already submitted a resignation in the CEO office kashtiwar. Added that we are investigating the matter and action will be taken against the said teacher,he said.
