Tral: 30 Sheep stolen in Amlar village

Tral, 10 Jan: Unknown thieves have stolen a flock of sheep in Amlar area of Tral in South Kashmir last night, locals said.
They said that during the intervening night of Saturday & Sunday, at least 30 sheep were stolen by some unknown burglars from the cowshed of Gh Mohi-Ud-Din Ganie, S/o Gh Qadir of Amlar village, following which locals are in a state of uncertainty.
As per the locals, many such incidents happened in a past few months, in several Tral villages, ‘but concerned authorities failed to trace the thieves’ so far.
The locals sought immediate intervention of higher ups, particularly police, into the matter, and requested them to unveil such elements at the earliest.
Earlier, around 40 sheep were stolen from the cowshed of Abdul Rashid Shah in Lariyar Tral, which is just a kilometre away from the Amlar village.
