01 Militant killed in Pulwama Gunfight

Pulwama: A militant has been killed after a gunfight broke out in Pulwama district of South Kashmir on Friday evening.

Reports said “one militant from Srinagar city has been killed in an encounter, which started, following a cordon and search operation (CASO) laid by joint forces in Wahibugh area of Pulwama.”

In the recent tweet, police confirmed that “one militant of Srinagar City, involved in recent civilian killing, neutralised in ongoing gunfight at Pulwama.”

Earlier, “the cordon and search operation were laid by 50 RR of Army, Jammu and Kashmir Police and CRPF, which turned into gunfight.”
