Police refutes the news regarding Heavy Stone Pelting At Government Degree College, Pulwama

Pulwama, March, 31: After a long spell of silence and a significant decrease in stone pelting incidents, Media reported the heavy stone pelting incident at Government Degree College in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Wednesday.

While talking with Kehkashan Media Principal of degree college Farooq Ahmad Andradi said that today the examination was conducted peacefully after the one of the student who was in detention have also participated in examination,he further ssid that after examination when the detinie Suhail ahmad wagay was about to leave in police vehicle some youngesters pelted stones on the vahicle ,We closed the college gates then after sometime ploice controlled the situation.

A Senior Police official while Talking refuted media reports of heavy stone pelting , while confirmed the incident and said, The some protesters pelted some stones on the police in which one student who was already in police detention were taken back to custody after completed the examination.“He further added that situation is under control.

Meanwhile the sources said that the protesting students are demanding the release of the college student namely Suhail Ahmad wagay son of Gulam Mohammad wagay.
